International Account Manager

My client is a Fashion footwear brand which is growing fast. Their ambitions travel worldwide, they are looking for an International account manager. In this function you develop and manage our international accounts, reporting to the International Key Account Manager.

What will you do?

  • Develop relationships with international retailers and e-tailers.
  •  Preserve customer satisfaction, while constantly building customer loyalty.
  •  Work with sales targets and additional bonus plans to achieve these targets.
  • Identify and follow relevant KPI's, track the necessary data and manage the weekly follow-up against the targets.
  • Produce a reliable forecast on a weekly basis.
  • Create sales opportunities by analyzing online data and website content.
  • Provide recommendations to drive shopper experience and market share, by utilizing data, keyword search and customer insights.
  • Collect and analyze competition info.
  • Partner with customers to ensure sales forecasting, product availability and customer service levels.
  • Identify and lead new business opportunities at new international retailers and e-tailers (Prospecting)
  • Monitor and improve brand distribution, representation, and discoverability.
  • Engage and collaborate with multifunctional teams (sales support, marketing, online marketing, finance, and ICT) to drive the execution of the sales strategy.
  • Implement our digital marketing tools at the appointed customers (mailings, campaigns, etc.).
  • Utilize marketing events, like trade fairs and our Roadshow to engage customers.


Who are you?

  • You have a hbo/wo level of working and thinking.
  • You have excellent communicative and commercial skills.
  • You speak both Dutch and English fluently. German and/or French is a pre.
  • You master Dutch and English in commercial writing.
  • You can analyse data and translate them to commercial opportunities.
  • You are proactive and flexible.
  • You are structured and you work systematical
  • You think out-of-the-box regarding ways to surprise customers.
